OBEDIENCE CLASSES
K9QUEST offers frequent obedience training classes at various locations in Wichita. Our classes are six to seven weeks long and each class meets once a week for approximately one hour. In addition to the class training, owners are expected to work with their dogs at home on a daily basis to practice the lessons learned in the class setting. Without this additional work the dog will not progress as well as desired. Keep in mind our theory that in the end you will get the dog you deserve based on your efforts.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Clicker Basics - NEW for 2010! Trainer: Shannon Coates
Class length: 6 weeks, 1 hour each week.
Clicker Basics teaches basic clicker training method and theory. A clicker is included in the cost of the course. Skills covered include conditioning to the clicker, attention/focus, basic obedience, and some advanced tricks. This course is good for those just getting into clicker training, those who would like to add a new style of training to current training methods, or those that prefer a positive-only training class.
Basic Obedience Trainer: John Coates
Class length: 6 weeks, 1 hour each week.
Basic obedience covers basic skills for a healthy, well adjusted pet. Skills include sit, down, heel, loose leash walk, stay, fronts and finishes, and other skills as time permits. This is a great place to start with a new dog or to start training an older dog.
IN-HOME TRAINING
K9QUEST offers personalized in-home training to meet your specific needs. Whether you are having specific behavior issues with your dog, are not able to attend our group classes, or just want the privacy afforded by your home ,we can meet your needs. We can also come to your office or other business location if you wish. Private in-home training offers the best opportunity to progress at a faster rate than group lessons and also allows our trainer to focus all of his/her attention on the one student present.
Our in-home training programs start at $400.00 for six sessions with discounts for programs with 10 or more sessions.
